Please visit The ARES Website for September Meeting info. Below, the Cherokee Tribune from Sunday June 27th, delivered to the Field Day site while we were still operating. The photos taken on Saturday the 26th.
ARRL Field Day is the largest on-the-air operating event in Amateur Radio. It draws tens of thousands to the airwaves each year, bringing new and experienced hams together for a weekend of fun! It is an excellent opportunity to demonstrate Amateur Radio to local elected community leaders, key individuals with the organizations that Amateur Radio might serve in an emergency, as well as the general public. The Field Day officially will begin at 2 PM on Saturday June 26 and run thru till 2 PM Sunday afternoon.
